At Brushwood Australia we are very proud to grow our own quality brushwood.

Farmers are using brushwood to help fight salinity, as brushwood will grow considerably closer to problem areas then crops currently cultivated.

Broombrush naturally grows where water runs towards the coast. The main areas broombrush grows is along the Emu fence line. However, it is being cultured only 200 miles in-land quite successfully.

The plant will regenerate when cut and is an excellent alley crop or windbreak fence-line crop.

The best way of cultivation is with a seeding planted directly into the soil. Normally the plant is ready for it's first harvest in 5 to 6 years. Once harvested the plants yield will multiply on further harvests.

All farmers,  corporations wishing to grow broombrush to supply the industry, please contact us.
